In fact, the TikTok app is one of the most popular applications in the world and of course the most used app as well. It says in the article that this social media app is very influential since it can be seen around the world, and everybody can be popular, I also notice that because of this app many people especially popular "tiktokerist" are able to get out of poverty and those famous people then are even more popular now. TikTok videos have a variety of content according to the article, there are comedies, entertainments, and pieces of information that are helpful to the watchers this might also be considered a stress reliever application which is why it is addictive. However, TikTok also has some disadvantages since everybody has the privilege to use it then other people will use it to spread fake rumors and news that can affect one's life so we should also limit ourselves in using it.

     According to the article,  many of the users in this application are teenagers since teenagers are the ones who are usually active on social media platforms. Many teenagers are very curious and not fully mature mentally, they love to explore every kind of thing and go with the flow whenever there are any popular fashions, music, and many more. In short, teenagers are easy to influence they might be influenced in a bad or good way depending on how the person used the app. This app can also cause anxiety, anxiety is one of the common mental illnesses that people are suffering from now. It says in the article as well that the Tiktok app also affects the culture since everybody can share anything like for example, k pop, k drama, and anime these things are affecting the culture because we teenagers really like these things since it is popular and from that, we started to compare our culture and hate it. This is how powerful the application is, we should limit ourselves in using any social media platforms because we might forget our own culture or even the history of our culture so use social media wisely.
